28 October 2024 – The International Institute of Public Policy and Management (INPUMA) convened today's roundtable discussion on enhancing road safety, driver competency, and transportation policy.
Leading the discussion, INPUMA's Executive Director, Datuk Dr Anis Yusal Yusoff, facilitated dialogue among various participants, resulting in the memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) and other agencies to advance road safety initiatives.
Key figures in the discussion included Mr Mohd Yusof Abd Ghani, a Research Officer from the Malaysian Institute of Road Safety Research (MIROS), and Mr Karisma Putera Abdul Rahman Dahlan, a Policy Research Analyst from Bait Al Amanah. The roundtable also featured contributions from prominent policymakers and representatives from the PDRM, the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM), and Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL), alongside INPUMA students and staff.
